Michelle( aka THE DOVE)  LEAD SINGER,MUSICIAN & SONGWRITER .started playing guitar and singing in various  bands for several years &worked, as a back-up singer for Grammy Award winning Vocalist, Melba Moore.Michelle attended Lehman College of the Performing Arts, where she studied Musical Theater, while there she performed at benefit concerts, museums, art galleries and festivals.

Michelle later graduated from Lehman, with a Bachelor Degree, in Musical Theaterand  recieved her Masters Degree,Childhood Education,2011.. 

Michele has performed with the "Harlem Jazz Vocal Ensemble,"she also performed with noted artist such as Cece Winans,  at Gracie Mansion (at the invitation of Mayor Giuliani), and at Sony’s Atrium Holiday Celebration. She worked at Arista Records, working with recording artist Jermaine Jackson, TLC and Whitney Houston, and at the MTV Music Awards, she assisted Madonna, Michael Jackson and REM. She worked as back-up singer with Grammy Award Winning Vocalist, Melba Moore.

 Michelle is apart of the NYC Jubilee Ensemble Choir, that performs throughout the Tri state area. Michelle is a member of The Dramatist Guild and  BMI Performing Artist Association.    

Michelle teamed up with Stu Newman(lead Guitar) and Kenji Tortenega(Bass) to form The Dove Musical Band in 2011,which was apart of Michelle's urban plays and musicals. After many successful musicals The Dove Band branched out and now is performing around the NY city area at local venues & showcases.

The Dove Band performs throughout the tri-state area playing cover and original tunes.The Band  plays all styles of music with a heavy emphesis on Classic Rock,Jazz and Soul.
