Michelle Gabriel(Musical Director,Activist,Speaker,Teaching Artist & Performer ) is the founder of The Dove Musical Theater, where she directs,writes,teaches and performs musicals throughout the tri-state area, at community events,conferences, schools,camps,outreach programs and local theaters.  She believes that she has the resposibilty, as a eductor, to send a message to todays youth that you can "turn your pain into a work of art."  Her refusal to equate adversity with failure or disappointment with defeat has provided her with the framework for her first original project entitled, The Dove Musical, a crafted dramatic play about overcoming trauma. This dramatic  urban rock play is a harmonious blend of song, dance,and cutting edge music.  Michelle has written two more original plays“The Dove Musical II” and “Secret In The Hood..             

 Michelle Gabriel is a community mobolizer,speaker,advocate and humanitarian passionate about helping protect the lives of women and children. She  facilatates arts programs in low income communities.She also has spent the last several years advocating againts assault & abuse toward children, working with organizations such as, New York Sexual Assault Alliance, RAINN,ECPAT,National Center for Missing & Exploited Children,Settlement Health,Urban League and The Manhatten DA Office.  Michelle continues to work  in promoting education for high risk youth with Jesse Banks Foundation,Dance Theater Of Harlem,Harlem State Office & Department of Justice.

Michelle teaches Arts,History & Drama for a Charter School in the Bronx and facilitates child safety workshops for the Red Cross Organization.Michelle is an Alumni of  Lehman College,Bronx and is a Board Member at Yonkers Arts,where she is invlolved in community outreach arts programs.
